The May half term and extended June bank holiday are nearly here! With the sun (hopefully) shining as summer gets closer, you may be planning a long-awaited holiday.
It’s important to check the entry requirements and local COVID-19 rules for your destination using the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office travel advice webpage. Your COVID-19 vaccination status may affect your travel plans and you may need to download a NHS COVID Pass.
To help you get holiday ready, the Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) vaccination bus is parked up in Thurrock each week from 10am to 3pm – including over the June bank holiday weekend.
If you are aged 16 years and over and haven’t had your first dose of the vaccine yet or need a second dose or booster (including spring booster if you are eligible), head along to the bus and get vaccinated. People aged 12-15 can have their first or second dose on the bus, too. Upcoming dates include:
Please note the bus may leave locations early if the day’s supply of vaccinations has been used.
Since these weekly pop-up clinics started, 1,020 people (from 1 March to 21 May) have been vaccinated.
Find out more about the COVID-19 vaccination on our COVID-19 vaccination webpage.
