Buckingham Palace today announced the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 8th September 2022.

Thurrock BME remember the Queen as the longest reigning monarch in the UK.  She was a bridge from old generations to new ones.  She embraced war, pandemics, strikes and protests.  She was a profound Christian who is now resting with the Lord.  We pray for comfort and unity for her family and the nation at this time.

Her throne has now passsed to King Charles III.  Long live the King!
